This replaces the front or rear lower control arm mount on the chassis. This ties the two sides together so they are stronger as well.
Can be used to fix blown out holes or ripped tabs.
Two options available:
Chromoly TIG welded
3/16 Steel MIG welded
The chromoly is stronger but not as thick as the steel, it's 3/16s on the front tab and 1/8 on the rear tab. So it’s thinner in the rear tab than the all 3/16 steel.
We wanted to provide a more inexpensive option that is still 75-80% thicker than stock.
Installation requires cutting the old, damaged mounts off of the chassis. Grinding the old welds off, cleaning up the chassis and welding the new piece on.
