These KRX 1000 Clutch Cover/Cage Bolts provide a reliable upgrade from the standard studs, designed for superior strength against breakage.
Through our racing we’ve seen the studs for the primary clutch cover/cage break causing damage to the clutches and broken belts. We were able to rectify the problem by running these high quality ARP bolted. Installation is simple: remove studs and reinstall the clutch cage with new bolts. We recommend using a small amount of red loc-tite when installing them.
Remove the primary clutch cage/cover, remove the primary clutch, removing the inner duct work in the clutch housing gives you easier access to remove the two 8mm studs for the primary clutch cage/cover, remove the two studs, reassemble inner duct work, re-install primary clutch, re-install primary clutch cage/cover using two long factory bolts in the rear and two new clutch cover bolts in the front two holes.
