The Kawasaki Teryx H2 has one of the toughest stock chassis but similar to the KRX there is nothing except the thin plastic skid plate under the engine and the thin steel under the transmission bends fairly easily which can cause the transmission case to break. Our 3/16" thick 6061 aluminum skid plate mounts between the factory plastic skid plate and the chassis adding an extra layer of protection in these areas.
Our skid plate ships flat, not formed as 6061 aluminum does not bend very well. Which is why we use it for a skid plate. We also ship the skid plate without hardware as it is intended to run between the chassis and a plastic(UHMW) skid plate, it will work with a factory skid plate or any aftermarket skid. We highly recommend Factory UTV Skid Plates as we have found they hold up the best to abuse.
